Nino Gvetadze

Georgian pianist Nino Gvetadze (Tbilisi) enjoys an active international career as both a soloist and chamber musician. She was awarded Second Prize, the Press Prize, and the Audience Prize at the International Franz Liszt Piano Competition 2008, and received the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award in 2010.

She has performed under conductors such as Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Klaus Mäkelä, Jakub Hrůša, and Jaap van Zweden, and has appeared with orchestras including the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Residentie Orkest.

She has performed in leading venues and festivals worldwide, including Wigmore Hall, Tonhalle Zürich, and Concertgebouw Amsterdam.

Her recordings have received critical acclaim in publications such as BBC Music Magazine and Gramophone.

Gvetadze studied in Georgia and continued her training in the Netherlands with Paul Komen and Jan Wijn. She is a professor at Codarts Rotterdam and artistic director of the Delft Chamber Music Festival. She is also co-founder and artistic director of the Naarden International Piano Festival.
