The first ever Festival Arte Musica Amersfoort

Festival Arte Musica Amersfoort is a three-day event where chamber music and visual arts are uniquely intertwined. This exceptional festival takes place in the historic Elleboogkerk and Museum Flehite, located in the historical heart of the city of Amersfoort.

The festival is an initiative of and is led by violinists Tosca Opdam and Asi Matathias. It presents an inspiring program featuring internationally renowned musicians, including the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, Einav Yarden, Dana Zemtsov, Gabriel Schwabe, Victor Stanislavsky, Tosca Opdam and Asi Matathias.

The concerts take place in the Elleboogkerk, where the impressive artwork Web by Mona Hatoum serves as a source of inspiration.
In Museum Flehite, a special Arts/Music Walk will take place, where exhibited artworks are interpreted through live music, creating a unique fusion of music and visual art.

The musicians will perform on rare, historic instruments by Stradivarius, Guarneri, and Goffriller. The festival program also includes a special concert presentation and Q&A, offering audiences the opportunity to learn more about these legendary instruments. (See program for details.)
